Occupational Health Technician – Based in Northwich 

Hobson Health provides high quality Occupational Health services to clients across the UK. As part of our continued growth we are looking to appoint an experienced Occupational Health Technician

This would be a temporary contract of one year with a possibility to progress to permanent position.

A full time role based from our Northwich offices, working peripatetically.

The candidate must be willing to drive our screening van and be
flexible to meet occasional unsocial hours.

Responsibilities:
• To conduct pre-employment health assessments including the undertaking of fitness to work in safety critical posts
• To escalate employees to Occupational Health Advisor or Physician where appropriate in line with the Occupational Health Technician protocols
• Following liaison with Occupational Health Advisor or Physician provide advice to Managers and HR regarding staff who are considered incapable of undertaking their normal duties and responsibilities.
• To ensure that knowledge is maintained of up to date legislation and best practice relating to all Occupational Health issues.
• To provide support, advice and guidance to managers and employees in relation to the screening work undertaken. This will take place verbally and in writing where necessary.

 

Clinical Services Manager – Stoke-on-Trent

Hobson Health provides high quality Occupational Health services to clients across the UK. As part of our continued growth we are looking to appoint an experienced Clinical Services Manager.

Based in Stoke-on-Trent, however travel to other locations required.

Candidates will require a minimum of 3 years Occupational Health experience, a recognised Occupational Health qualification and Nursing & Midwifery Council registered.

Candidates will need to be flexible with hours to meet business demands, own their own vehicle as travel is required and be a good team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

Main responsibilities:
All aspects of management of the clinical team.
Recruitment, retention, training and development of clinical teams.
Development and review of clinical standards processes and procedures.
Clinical audit.

 

Salary dependent on skills and experience.
