This week Prince William spoke about the impact of witnessing pain first-hand as an air ambulance pilot, admitting that he, “took a lot home without realising it”. His comments came as he launched the Mental Health at Work project. The project couldn’t have come at a better time as it appears that The Duke of Cambridge is not alone, with a survey from the charity Mind finding that half of workers had experienced poor mental health in their current job. The survey of 44,000 workers also found that staff who were supported by their manager felt better able to discuss their mental health in the workplace.
