New trainee physicians boost the team

Occupational Health provider Hobson Health has further strengthened its team through the recruitment of three occupational health trainee physicians.

Drs Yvette Martyn, Rosemary How and Rahil Naeem have joined the Staffordshire-based business.  All are experienced occupational health professionals who already hold a Diploma in Occupational Medicine.  They will be supported through the company’s in-house team of senior physicians to gain further experience and specialist qualifications.

Medical Director Dr Rachel Sharp explains:

‘Hobson Health has grown annually since our creation in 2009.  We provide a full range of occupational health services at our own clinics and on our customers’ sites.  Finding and retaining high quality employees has been key to our success.’

‘Nationally there is a shortage of occupational health clinical staff and so we developed an in-house academy approach – taking on generalist nurses and physicians and supporting them to specialist status.’

As well as three trainee physicians Hobson Health also employs 3 occupational health advisors in training amongst its team of 45 employees across its three sites in Stoke on Trent, Northwich and Bury St Edmunds.
