Dr Rosemary How

Rosemary is an Occupational Health Physician at Hobson Health.  She holds a Diploma and Advanced Diploma in occupational medicine and is working towards higher exams and gaining specialist accreditation in time.  Rosemary developed an interest in occupational medicine after being appointed as a panel doctor for social security and disability benefit tribunals.  Prior to that she worked in a range of different mental health settings as a psychiatrist, these included acute admissions and community teams, dealing with a range of different mental health problems, as well as in more specialised units.  She also gained experience in military recruitment.

Since being at Hobson Health, Rosemary has gained experience in a wide variety of sectors including local authorities, police force, rail, ceramics, off shore, education, manufacturing and social care. She acts as an IRMP for a number of local authorities through the LGPS, she is an approved doctor for asbestos and is authorised through the HSE to carry out tier 4 HAVS assessments.  Rosemary is currently completing her MSc in occupational medicine by conducting a research project into the outcomes from silica health surveillance and hopes to publish her findings in due course
